Junghans Max Bill Automatic - German perfection on the wrist!
The collaboration between Junghans and Max Bill began in 1956 with the design of a kitchen clock, which he developed together with his students at the HfG Ulm. Only rarely has the interplay of hour and minute been presented in a simpler and more precise manner than with these watches. The dial design of the wall clock flowed in 1961 in the design of the wristwatches. Thus, Max Bill laid the foundation for his now legendary watch line, which became a modern design classic. In the automatic series, the simple and precise interplay of hour and minute has been perfectly implemented, and so the Max Bill automatic is hard to beat in terms of elegant design. Above all, the finely designed dial with indices and Arabic numbers stands out and gives the watch a special look. The fact that Junghans is a master of watchmaking was impressively demonstrated in the production of this timepiece. House inside the steel is an automatic movement caliber J800.1. Another highlight is the extremely soft and adaptable calfskin strap, which forms a perfect contrast to the stainless steel case. With a pin buckle, also made of stainless steel, the watch can be easily attached to the wrist. The special "Bauhaus" look is mainly generated by the specially curved plexiglass with Sicralan coating, which gives the watch a great look. Fans of minimalist and elegant design will be thrilled by this Junghans quality timepiece!
